On March 21st, World Down Syndrome Day, Down Syndrome Albania Foundation, signed a memorandum of cooperation with public and private health institutions.
Down Syndrome Albania (DSA) Foundation, during the month of October, which is the International Month of Awareness for Down Syndrome, will organize on October 25th, 8:00 PM, at the National Theater of Opera and Ballet, an opera program/concert, made possible by Mr. Saimir Pirgu, the Albanian world-famous tenor and Down syndrome ambassador in Albania, as well as by the valuable contribution of maestro Zhani Ciko, soprano Mariana Leka, mezzo soprano Vikena Kamenica, baritone Armand Likaj and the symphony orchestra of the NTOB.
Down Syndrome Albania, together with the “Jonathan” and “Future for You” centers, have agreed for October to be designated as the Month of Awareness for Down syndrome in Albania.
